DAVID GERROLD's career began when, as a college student in 1967, he sold his first television script, "The Trouble with Tribbles," to Star Trek. He went on to write more television scripts, as well as such novels as The Man who Folded Himself, the Hugo-nominated When HARLIE Was One, When HARLIE Was One: Release 2.0, and the first three books in The War Against the Chtorr series: A Matter for Men, A Day for Damnation, and A Rage for Revenge. He is currently working on the fourth novel in the series.
