151KreperThis vehicle is used by Iria and Gren and has the capability of space slight as well as atmospheric flight.  It is also known as as mini-com.
152K-SuitThese suits are K-11 Armored Suits.  They are basically tanks on legs and are very slow.  They provide the drivers protection against Boomers due to their armor.
153KushinadaA legendary clan from Japan whose blood can put the Arigami to sleep.  Momiji is a descendant of this clan.
154La'crymaA timespace fifteen years in the future where everyone has been transformed by an incident into quantum beings.
155Large PrintA printing with larger print, for people that have difficulty seeing the smaller print in most books.
156LeafA "page" of a book.  This refers to the sheet of paper that the pages are printed on and therefore a leaf usually contains to pages of written text.
157LeonisOne of the Twelve Colonies
158Lewis Carroll Shelf AwardThis award was given annually until 1979 for titles that had similar qualities to Alice in Wonderland.  This award is longer given.
159LFOLight Finding Operation - LFO's are alien skeletons excavated from the Scub Coral.  Military LFO's are called Kraft Light Fighter (KLF).

161Life SympathyAn empathic ability which enables a person to link with a robot's core unit.  The level of sympathy varies with the person and controls the ability to make the robot maneuver.
162LiftingThe use of a ref board to ride the Trapar waves to glide in the air.
163Limit of QuestionsThe theory that too many life forms existing in a small place will cause reality to collapse.
164Limited EditionBooks published in limited quantities, usually limited to around a thousand and typically signed by the author.  These books are usually available for purchase directly through the publisher and are not normally available in bookstores.
165Line PairA coil pair in which a line is shown through the perforations.  A guide line pair has deliberate lines in the plate and are generally very clear.  A joint line pair is caused from the seam in the cylindrical plate when printing and are less distinct.
166LithographyThe lithography printing method relies on a flat surface where the image areas attract oil-based ink and non-image areas repel it based on oil/water repulsion.  The result is smooth and continuous ink coverage with sharp clean edges.  This is most noticeable on vertical or horizontal lines and on numeral values.  There are no visible dots or texture under magnification, and the surface feels flat.

168Locus Poll WinnersThis is a poll conducted annually of the readers of "Locus Magazine".  The genres recommended are science fiction, fantasy, and horror.  The poll is issued in February and the results are published in the summer.

173Mass-Market PaperbackThe most common paperback book usually smaller than trade paperbacks and hardcover versions.
174MauserThis is the prevelent religion and the church tha issued the prophecy against the Scrapped Princess.  The peacemakers work for the chuch of Mauser.
175MechaMecha is a Japanese word for large robot.
176Meta SeriesThis is my term for a stamp series that spans many years and many variations.  More a like a theme than a series, such as Love or Statehood stamps.
177MintA stamp that is in the same condition as it was when first printed.  This means, among other things, that it has never been hinged and has all of it gum.
178Mobile PitThis is a truck that can house the hardsuits and provide battery power and a means to discreetly move them for long range missions.
179Mobile TranssemblerMobile transsemblers are used to transmit very large objects when a stationary transembler can not be used.
180Model Train ScalesThe scale of the model train type as related to the original size from which it was modelled.

181MotoslaveThis is a motorcycle-like vehicle used by Priss.  It can transform and connect to her hardsuit for added hardware and weaponry.
182MPAAThe Motion Picture Association of America.
183MyceMyce is the Administration capital.  It is also the home planet of Iria and Gren.  The Tedan Tippedai Corporation maintains its headquarters on Myce.
184Mystic MoonThe name that the inhabitants of Gaea have given to the Earth which can be seen along with the Moon in the skies.
185NC-17MPAA Rating: No One 17 and Under Admitted.  Started in 1990 and replaced the X rating for movies that are not-necessarily pornographic.
186Nebula AwardThe Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America established the Nebula Award in 1965.  The members nominate their personal favorites and then select the best book.  Awards are given out in four categories.  One of the first winners of the Nebula Award was Dune by Frank Herbert in 1965.
187OAVOriginal Video Animation.  See OVA.
188OhayouJapanese term for "good morning".
189OmiyageA souvenir or present that someone would get upon returning from a trip.
190OnsenAn onsen is a Japanese sento (public bath) fed by natural hot spring water.
191OtakuOtaku is someone who is fanatical about anime or manga and are obsessed with it.  Some people find this term to be offensive.
192OVAOriginal Video Animation.  These are animated videos / laser disks / DVD's that are released straight to the public without ever being broadcast or shown in theatres.  This is sometimes also abbreviated OAV.
193OverprintTerm ImagePrinting on a stamp that was not part of the original design.  Overprints may occur when there is not enough time to print new stamps for whatever purpose the stamp is needed.  In these cases existing stamps are overstamped.  Precancelled stamps are also an example of an overprint.
194PaneA full sheet of stamps.
195PaperbackBooks in paper (or soft) covers mostly printed since the 1930's.
196PeacemakerAn agent of Mauser.  These being are AI units that have the ability to control humans and are set to over see them.  They have a human form as well as divine retribution forms, one of which cannot be used within the atmosphere.
197PerfinsPerfin is a contraction of perforated initials or perforated insignia.  These are stamps that have been punched with initials, letters, or symbols after they were issued, usually to identify an organization or individual that used them.
198PerforationsThe small holes punched between stamps that allows them to be separated easily.  Perforations come in styles and in differing widths and may vary even for the same stamp design.
199PGMPAA Rating: Paretnal Guidance Suggested (Some Matarial May Not Be Suitable for Children).  Replaced the GP rating.
200PG-13MPAA Rating: Parents Strongly Cautioned (Some Material May Be Inappropriate for Children Under 13).  Started in 1984 and was used for movies stronger that PG but not as strong as an R rating.
